In recent years, the concept of “Metaverse” and its technical application have been widely discussed in various industries. You may have noticed that commercial enterprises have begun to build The different metaverse virtual spaces make it a new generation of product and service promotion model. Various primary, secondary and university groups are also discussing and researching how to apply the concept of metaverse to education through related technologies to enhance students’ learning interest and participation. <\/span><\/p>\n

Data Technology Resource Center will hold lectures and seminars on “Entering the Era of the Metaverse” on February 8, 2023, and invited speakers from different industries. The concept of the universe as well as the application of technology, the practice of teaching, project use initiatives and community building, as well as the metaverse twin campuses established by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology last year, etc., will give explanations and experience sharing. I hope that Bringing the application and project development experience of Metaverse to the social welfare sector<\/strong><\/span>, allowing colleagues to have more thinking space in terms of service development and provision, increasing service audiences’ experience of services, strengthening the connection between organizations and service audiences, and expanding the ways in which organizations provide services. This seminar will be held in a physical way, free of charge, and colleagues from institutions are welcome to register and participate. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
