About Digital Inclusion
As an international city, Hong Kong has entered a new era of intellectual economy. The development of information and communication technology has also developed rapidly along with the intellectual economy. In Hong Kong, most citizens have the opportunity to access and use computers and the Internet. However, many disadvantaged communities still face many difficulties in the application of information and communication technology, and the difference forms a “digital divide.” Reducing the digital divide is one of the key strategies from government document “Digital 21: Information Technology Strategy”.
