Introduction

WebOrganic connects network and collaborates resources among different sectors and introduces programmes with a mix of ICT and social services. In the partnership with WebOrganic, frontline service units will be empowered to develop more diversified programme in terms of the financial, knowledge and skills support. We strive for cross sectoral and NGOs collaboration and so as to facilitate greater synergy and service exchanging.

WebOrganic has been promoting digital literacy, plugged & unplugged computer science and parent education in the community for years. We are so grateful for many corporates’ recognitions and their choices to promote corporate social responsibility in an innovative way, combining social services with information and communication technology to bring hope, chance and choice to different beneficiaries.

Safer Internet Day

WebOrganic is the official implementer of an international campaign – “Safer Internet Day”. Every year, WebOrganic organizes a series of activities to promote internet safety in the themes of digital citizenship, cyber safety, personal data privacy and parent education, in alignment of Safer Internet Day. We partner with frontline social service units, school and other institutions to extensively launch public eductaional programmes and resources.

Safer Internet Day raise an issue of salience for a focused discussion each year, and has therefore remained as a prominent occasion for internet safety. It was initiated by the European NGO, Internet Safety (InSafe) on 2004, and since then it has transcended geographical boundaries with global significance.
