“Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme” application closed
The application period of the “Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme” had ended on 15 July 2021.
“Community Care Fund Digital Television Assistance Programme” was launched in January 2020, which aims to subsidise analogue television (TV) households with financial needs to obtain digital TV receivers. With the help of 100 district service units and postal application centre for processing application, the programme has benefited over 28,000 eligible households.
Applicants can call General Enquiry Hotline 2922 9230 to check their application status.
If applicants have not contacted the designated contractor for on-site visit to conduct qualification verification and digital TV receiver installation, please call On-site Checking and Installation Enquiry Hotline 3418 5509 to make an appointment.
If applying households are selected for random checks, please provide the Service Units / Postal Application Centre with detailed income information and any other supporting documents for eligibility checking. If an applying household fails to provide supplementary information and documents required within 4 weeks from the issue date of the “Notification of Random Check”, HKCSS has the right to terminate the application.
